Educative Offer

EDUCATIVE OFFER

From Nursery to 9th grade, we integrate the arts into the learning process and promote exchanges between cycles.

DAYCARE

Because we believe in the power of the arts in individual development, we ensure early exposure for children. From Nursery to 2 years old, all students have weekly sessions in English, dance, music, and visual expression activities. Sensory stimuli play a fundamental role in the initial formation of the human being, so we engage our students in an environment of emotions, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic stimuli. From the age of 2, children also have gymnastics included in their weekly routine.

PRESCHOOL EDUCATION

Valuing the individuality and personality of each student, the school provides educational conditions that allow for the full development of their potential, preparing them to face the unprecedented challenges of the future.

Art, understood as the driving force of learning, engages students weekly through theater, dance, and music classes, as well as visual arts activities and concerts, integrated into projects in the domains of language, mathematics, science, motor expression, and personal and social development.

All students aged 3, 4, and 5 have English classes.

1ST CYCLE

In the 1st Cycle, active learning is valued, with the student at the center of the process.

The core curriculum areas (Portuguese Language, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies) are worked on in partnership with the arts as a pedagogical tool and for the initiation into disciplinary areas such as music, painting, dance, and theater. Physical Education, ICT – Information and Communication Technologies, and citizenship are also part of the 1st Cycle curriculum. The science component of Environmental Studies and the teaching of English as a second language are based on the international curriculum according to Cambridge Assessment.

2ND AND 3RD CYCLES

The national curriculum is structured in a way that languages, sciences, and arts are integrated to provide students with a solid, comprehensive, and enriched preparation. Art enhances knowledge.

In the 2nd cycle, dance and theater complement the educational offer as disciplines, and in the 3rd cycle, interdisciplinary projects with the arts (dance, theater, music, multimedia, and visual arts) are developed, aligning with one of the main guiding principles of our school’s pedagogical model: creativity.

The teaching of English as a second language follows the international curriculum of the Cambridge Assessment system, and mathematics and science instruction integrate content from the international curriculum, including English.
